Bear and Ragged Staff Update

BEAR UPDATE MARCH 2020

Neighbours may have noticed reduced activity at The Bear and Ragged Staff in the last few months.

We just wanted to reassure everyone that we have been busy behind the scenes, having the necessary conversations and discussions to help us create a cracking pub at the heart of the village.

It's now stripped out and we have spent the last few months debating how to put it back together with our experienced architects, designers, builders and kitchen teams.

There will be a new bar to perch your pint on after a busy day or for sipping something chilled whilst you catch up and chat with chums. We'll have a new eating space too for lunches, early teas and your special get togethers where you can see our chefs in action, outdoor spaces too for a nibble and natter.

Upstairs the function room will be resurrected for celebrations, meetings and a training space, after which guests can retire to one of our eight en suite bedrooms, then enjoy breakfast with us.

There's more news to follow but for the moment our planning submission is in and on the CWAC website number 20/00738/FUL. You can view and comment on our plans there, our aim is to compliment and contribute to the existing businesses in Tattenhall, which as residents, you know we enjoy and support!
