BBC Radio 2 debut for Bolesworth

car fest

Well, the entire country now knows that CarFest North is coming to Bolesworth Castle in 2016!

An overly excited Chris Evans could barely contain himself on his live BBC 2 Breakfast Show last week.

Describing Bolesworth Castle as 'absolutely stunning' he then stated that he 'cannot wait to go there'.

Whilst this member of the Webteam is unsure about his actual appreciation of art, he did state that 'if you were good at art and you could draw a castle ... then this is what you would draw'.

In the knowledge that the Estate has developed its equestrian event to international standards, he felt that the transition to CarFest would be seamless since the infrastructure to support such an event was already in place.

Importantly, he was keen to state that the extra capacity that Bolesworth Castle is able to provide translates into more ticket sales and more monies raised for Children in Need — a 'win-win' situation.
