Craft items wanted for families experiencing financial hardship.
The school summer holidays can be a difficult time for families experiencing financial hardship. The Poverty Team at the Council has set up a donations scheme for craft activity packs to help provide children with fun things to do. The team is looking for items such as colouring books, pens, pencils, paints, paper, glue sticks -- any craft materials you can think of, but they must be new and unused. The items will be distributed throughout the borough via the Cheshire Hub Facility in Northwich.
If you have anything unused that you can spare, or would like to buy and donate something, you can drop it off (thanks to the wonderful Lesley), at Tattenhall Post Office.
Please take your donations to the Post Office by 11am on Thursday (19 August)(Apologies for the short time scale – please act now with what you can).
