TV antiques expert Christina Trevanion to give free
antiques valuations

On Wednesday 3rd November, BBC TV presenter, valuer and auctioneer Christina Trevanion will visit Gifford Lea retirement village inTattenhall, to give free antiques valuations for residents of the village and neighbourhood.

This event is part of a series called The Grand AntiquesTour, organised by Inspired Villages, the operator behind Gifford Lea. The tourwill also continue across other Inspired Villages communities throughoutautumn.

Many of us are the owners of intriguing antiques and curioushand-me-downs or have collected quirky finds over the years. Local residents areinvited to attend the event for an appointment with Christina for a freevaluation to see if they own a secret fortune. There will be two sessions of
valuations, with a morning slot beginning at 10am and a second in the afternoonat 12pm. Valuations will be limited to one item per person.

Guests will be invited to enjoy complimentary refreshmentsand to take the opportunity to socialise with other guests and residents,whilst sharing stories of the items they bring along. Visitors will also beoffered the opportunity for a tour of the village and its show homes.

Christina Trevanion, known for her appearances on the BBCantiques programmes Bargain Hunt, Flog It!, Antiques Road Trip and Put YourMoney Where Your Mouth Is, commented: "I'm really looking forward to valuingsome interesting items at Gifford Lea, last time I visited there were some
incredible finds. The community has grown so much over the last few years soI'm excited to see what other delights people bring along this time.

"Sometimes the most unassuming things can be worth somethingand it's wonderful to see the surprise on people's faces!
