Into its 6th year, Tattenhall's annual Wormfest saw a full draw of teams entered for 2017 and a great mix of family fun, all in aid of raising funds for the school and the Alder Hey Children's Charity.
Tattenhall Park Primary School's Wormfest school fair has been an annual success, requiring brave teams of wormers to carefully choose the best tools in which to help charm and coax worms overground. Everything from garden implements to pogo sticks was in use to encourage the worms to emerge and be collected.
Congratulations to the winning team with the most worms charmed, 'The Worming Warriors', also known as the Barraclough family, pictured, with 37 worms.
With Farndon & District's Brass Band in full flow, even the weather stayed mostly kind to allow a great event with lucky dip, raffle, delicious BBQ and food stalls, bouncy castle and fancy dress fun run in aid of Alder Hey Children's Charity to all add to the atmosphere. Special thanks to the organisers, the Tattenhall Park PTA team and Annie Forster for putting on what was another very successful local community Wormfest.
