Supported by the British Acupuncture Council, Monday 6 March sees the beginning of 'Acupuncture Awareness Week' which aims to better inform people about the practice of traditional acupuncture.
With 2.3 million acupuncture treatments carried out each year, traditional acupuncture is one of the most popular complementary therapies practised in the UK today. Even so, many people only discover traditional acupuncture as a last resort despite its widely recognised health benefits.
Throughout 'Acupuncture Awareness Week', all across the UK, you will find members of the British Acupuncture Council seizing this opportunity to talk to as many people as they can about traditional acupuncture, not least here in Tattenhall.
