A Fantastic Team Building Initiative

Following a delicious breakfast at Alison's Country Kitchen, TWiG and 14 colleagues from IMT International enjoyed quite glorious sunshine during a team building initiative last week; community engagement at its best!

'Acting globally and thinking locally', the IMT Team, led by Managing Director, George Heywood, supported TWiG in their management of the woodland coppice which comprises part of Jubilee Wood, removed huge numbers of plastic tree guards and, following lunch at Gifford Lea Inspired Village, visited Phase 2A of 'Slowing the Flow of the Mill Brook'.

IMT International, based in Tattenhall, provides IVF management technologies and quality management systems to fertility clinics, donor banks and other Assisted Reproductive Technology centres.

This innovative company was founded by Tim Heywood, a life-long pioneer of technologies, including leading development of the world's first successful commercial sexed semen centre in the field of bovine reproduction. Today the business is managed in its second generation by George Heywood, and their core values remain the same; responsiveness, quality of outputs, collaboration and integrity.

Our thanks to George and his fantastic team – we were certainly challenged to learn some amusing facts from each other (not least about elephants)!
