New Deal for Bishop Heber Students

Paul Kerr has successfully contacted the MD of Helms Aintree Buses to ask whether he would consider a more affordable weekly ticket for Bishop Heber students which would also be simpler to pay. His response is below:

"Further to our conversation of the other day. I confirm that after half term a weekly ticket will be available for pupils travelling from Tattenhall to Bishop Heber Malpas at a cost of £10 . This will be a calendar week i.e. Monday to Saturday and will be valid as a day ticket for the whole of the 41 service on Saturdays to Chester or Whitchurch, and as such offers very good value for money against the current fares. It will also be available to all pupils , even 6th formers.

During Half term and school holidays our teen to town ticket for all young people up to 19 is available for £2 per day giving them all day travel on service 41.

These initiatives have been offered after consultation with CWAC Council and are joint ventures with the Transport dept and their officers who have always been very supportive of the 41 bus route.

I would be grateful if you could disseminate this information through the parish website etc
Thank you John Cherry Aintree"

Good news for school travel plus added advantages at weekends.
