On Tuesday October 3rd, at the Drop-in at the Barbour, the biggest draw of the 200 Club year took place. The prize was £1500 and a resident of Tattenhall was the lucky winner.
Each month there is a prize draw of £60, £25 and £15 with a prize of £500 in April. Do consider becoming a member ... it only costs £60 per year, £5 per month.
This year the 200 Club has raised £1400 which is earmarked for the planned refurbishment of the ladies, gents and disabled toilets. Over £2600 has been won by the lucky winning numbers during this year.
The Barbour Institute is home to a diverse range of groups and activities from concerts, fitness classes, film nights, weddings, pantomimes, children's parties ... the list goes on. Our entire income comes from the room rental from all these events, or charitable donations. Out of this our staff must be paid and routine maintenance carried out. We are reliant on our fundraising to pay for improvements and upgrading the building therefore our income from the 200 Club is very important.
The November draw is the first of the new season, 2023/2024 so if you would like to be part of it, please pick up a form from either the BI office/ entrance hall or download from the website. There is a secure postbox at the front door for completed forms. Payment can be made by either cheque, bank transfer or direct debit. If you want further information feel free to get in touch with the office and we hope that many more members will join us this year.
As always, a huge thank you to current members for their support and loyalty during the past year and good luck to everyone for November's draw.
Thank you from the BI 200 Club Team
