Cheshire Hike 2016

2nd-3rd April

Two teams from 1st Tattenhall Guides entered the Intermediate category (12½ -14yrs) of the Cheshire Scouts Hike 2016 for the first time. This is a competitive 2 day hike, camping overnight with challenges along the way. The girls did tremendously well competing against 93 other teams in their category to complete 28 miles over the 2 days. Despite the weather the girls kept smiling and completed the event in fine style. A total of 213 teams entered across 4 categories ranging from 11yrs to 18yrs. Only 20 of which were teams of Guides, all pictured above. The girls have spent the winter months training for this event with the Girlguiding Cheshire Hike team. Well done girls!
