A Riot of Colour in Jubilee Wood

Jubilee Wood is in full glory – this image of 'Ragged Robin' illustrates what can only be described as a 'riot of colour'.

This diverse woodland glade in the heart of Jubilee Wood is a haven for pollinators.

For those of you who might be new to the village, Jubilee Wood was planted in 2012 and is managed by Tattenhall Wildlife Group (TWiG).

At that time, 1200 trees were planted in celebration of Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee.

The trees were donated by the Woodland Trust, the Bolesworth Estate and CWaC and planting took place over a number of weekends between late November 2011 and early 2012.
