£74k Successful Funding Award

The Sandstone Ridge Trust is delighted to announce that it has been successful in its most recent Funding Application.

Their bid for £74,000, from Cheshire West and Chester (CWaC), is part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The funding will be used in support of a number of initiatives, not least the appointment of a Community Engagement Officer.

A number of Ridge-wide projects will now be developed; a new 'Walk, Talk and Ride Festival', 'Woodland Creation', 'Environmental Education' and 'Green Social Prescribing'.

Details will be released in the coming weeks but exciting news as they seek to 'Conserve, Connect and Inspire' current and future generations in understanding and caring for this unique landscape and its diverse habitats.
