The Great Global Cleanup® is a worldwide campaign to remove billions of pieces of trash from neighborhoods, beaches, rivers, lakes, trails, and parks -- reducing waste and plastic pollution, improving habitats, and preventing harm to wildlife and humans.
There are volunteers in Tattenhall who regularly go out and pick litter around the village. Help them by taking your litter home!! Or volunteer to help pick litter at

What Is Sustainable Fashion?
The fashion industry is responsible for over 8% of total greenhouse gas emissions. Sustainable Fashion refers to a clothing supply chain that is ecologically and socially responsible. Now is the opportunity to shift the industry and consumers away from the fast fashion model and toward sustainable practices in sourcing, production, distribution, marketing, and consumption. -

Check where your clothes purchases come from, are they ethically sourced, organically grown products. Or buy second hand/ vintage – or make your own, mend clothes and keep wearing them. Be proud to have clothes that you are still wearing after many years.

Watch out for Transition Tattenhall Repair Cafe soon to arrive monthly on Sunday mornings at the Barbour. – Learn forgotten skills to repair things rather than throw them away.
