The next U3A walk is Thursday 24th May will be led by Marjorie.
Please let Jill know if you can walk, and where you will meet.
This is a lovely walk of about 7 miles in and above the Conwy valley, from Trefriw. We go uphill past the Fairy Falls and through woodland to visit one of the oldest churches in Wales at Llanrhychwyn, then down beside a waterfall and across fields to the river
and back to Trefriw, where there's a cafe, loos and shopping opportunities at the Woollen Mill.
Bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink.
Directions : It's just over 60 miles, taking about an hour and 20 mins, so I suggest meeting behind Alison's at 9.15 for car-sharing, to start walking around 10.45.
Take the A55 to the A470 (signed to Betws-y-Coed) and go S down the Conwy valley past the Bodnant turn, to Tal y Cafn, turn right to cross the river, then left at the T junction.
In the centre of Trefriw, take the left turn opposite the Woollen Mill for free parking along on the right.
