Power supply scam

Please be aware of a telephone call that a local resident has had. The call was from someone purporting to be from Scottish Power offering a better deal on power supply and seeking the resident's bank details

Scottish Power were contacted to check and they allegedly said that it was a con and that they would not contact the customer in that way, especially late in the evening.

The caller number was reported as 0161 7914577.
