Dan Price, Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire has had a busy first month in office, since officially starting his role on 9 May 2024. Over the last four weeks, Dan has:
- met with the senior management team in the Constabulary.
- begun to build relationships with the North West PCCs.
- been briefed on a number of issues, including a specialist briefing from the team who has been working on the Lucy Letby case.
- Visited councillors in Widnes to see first-hand how they tackle fly tipping.
- And much more.
The PCC has recorded a video detailing some of the things he's done during his first month in office. You can view the videohere
Work is now underway to create the Police and Crime Plan detailing how the PCC will hold the Chief Constable of Cheshire Constabulary to account, ensuring an efficient and effective service and the first of Dan's Citizen's Assemblies.
