The government's Household Support Fund supports households in the most need, especially with energy costs, food, water bills and other related essential items. The fund can pay out up to £100, but it is only open to those households which have an active claim for Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction. The current round of funding is open until 31 March 2025
