Representatives of The Children's Society and of the NW Air Ambulance Charity were in attendance at The Barbour Institute on Monday 23 January as The Tattenhall Beer Festival Committee were able to present their fantastic fund raising efforts from last year's autumn Beer Festival to each charity representative.

Hannah Noble, who travelled from Wilmslow in thick fog and icy conditions for the presentation, is the The Children's Society Regional Fundraising Manager for Liverpool and Cheshire and has worked with charities for over 12 years, the last 5 years of which have been with The Children's Society.

Debra Millican, on the other hand, who is based in Ellesmere Port and is the NW Air Ambulance Charity Regional Fundraiser for Cheshire and Wirral, has been in post for 5 months, having moved to fundraising from a career in banking.

Both representatives expressed their delight and sincere thanks in each receiving a cheque for £1500 toward the valued work of both organisations.

Our grand total of £3000 was a massive 20% increase on the previous year's fundraising, so a huge 'THANK YOU' to everyone who attended our Tattenhall Charity Beer Festival last October.

Our photographs show Hannah and Debra receiving the cheques, together with members of Tattenhall Beer Festival Committee.

A date for your diaries – the 2017 Tattenhall Charity Beer Festival will be held on 13 and 14 October - watch this space.
