Age UK – Later Life Assembly – Transport

What is a 'Later Life Assembly'?
We want to provide the opportunity for people to meet, share some food together and learn about how they can make a positive change for themselves
and other people in later life.

The focus of our Later Life Assembly on Friday 11th October 2019 will be on Transport and older people from across Cheshire are invited to join us in building a campaign on improving transport for older people locally.

This Later Life Assembly event will begin at 11:00am and will finish at 2:00pm – a light lunch will be provided.

At the event, we will draw together a panel of speakers to share their thoughts on how accessible transport can have a positive impact on people in later life. We will then work together to identify some positive actions that we can take collectively to improve it for people across Cheshire. We hope that this is an exciting programme that will result in real change.
