A41 Closed

The A41 is closed from 2nd – 5th June, please see image for times. The road is closed from Waverton to Rocky Lane (the Righi).

No details have been provided by CWaC so the signs are the only information we have. Presumably diversion routes are signposted but it is obvious that not all are following them and the village is very busy with large wagons negotiating the corner onto the High Street and the bends on the Righi. Reports have been seen of similar issues in Waverton at the narrow canal bridges.

Please watch out for unexpected vehicle types negotiating our narrow lanes and take care.
