The Park Primary School Website – How to Access Information

Readers will know that Tattenhall Park Primary School launched a refreshingly easy-to-use, modernised Website this summer which has been very well received. With this in mind, we felt that it was worth reminding our users that there is lots of information that can be gained by having a quick navigation around the site.

So here are a few tips on how to do just that and to answer one or two questions that are currently circulating in the community (particularly relevant if you don't have children at the school). Obviously there are some restrictions regarding access to the site (as you would expect) but it is worth having a look at what our youngsters are doing and the current thinking on aims, objectives and issues.

• The site contains some lovely images of the children, reminders about dates (half term starts at the end of next week), reminders about admissions procedures for 2018 which we have also listed in our Editor's Picks previously, the most recent Ofsted Report, details of curriculum content, and much much more.
• The school also publishes an informative 'Weekly Newsletter' which can be accessed from the 'Home Page' under 'Parents' on the Toolbar. This member of the webteam, for example, learned that the school has now created a 'Community Engagement Sub-Committee', the remit of which is to steer the school in creating a positive impact on the community. • Similarly, there is an update on 'The Fence' which can be found under 'About Us' on the Toolbar. The 'Frequently Asked Questions' have been in the public domain for some time but have been recently updated to include photographs and maps and to advise that it is the intention of The Park Primary School to erect the school perimeter fence before Christmas 2017 – view entire FAQs by CLICKING HERE
• If readers also scroll down, they will find a chalkboard on which is entered 'School Boundaries'. The Headteacher confirmed to this member of the Webteam on Monday morning that paper copies of this document are available from the library and from the school offices and that the document has already been hand delivered to near neighbours of the school.
