Members of the Tattenhall Business Alliance gathered at the Harthill Cookery School last Wednesday for their Christmas meeting. To get members into the Christmas spirit, Brian and Mary had decorated the school room beautifully. The main attraction of the evening was Beer Sommelier, Martin Hilton's guided tour of the world of hops and malt. He explored the history of beer, the art of tasting and how to pair foods with beer. To complement the drinks, Brian provided a delicious steaming-hot beef carbonnade served with hunks of bread.
