Every school in the land prepares tirelessly for its Christmas Plays, Activities and School Fayre and the fruits of their labours did not disappoint at The Tattenhall Park Primary School last week.
The first of its Christmas performances was a tear-jerking nativity (not a dry eye in the house) which was beautifully performed by the Early Years children. This was followed by two packed performances on both Wednesday and Thursday before the School threw open its doors for the annual Christmas Fayre, and what a Fayre it was!
Our regular village market stallholders were in attendance as were a host of other stallholders selling a myriad of goods from local cheeses, to jewellery, to beautiful Christmas crafts and cards.
Every class had designed its own stall, with Christmas wares or fun-packed games. Laughter and joy filled the air as shoppers and the community, who had turned out in force, bagged a bargain or two and tried their luck on the individual stalls.
As always we are indebted to the support and the generosity of a multiplicity of village and local businesses and, as a result, the raffle was packed with a quite spectacular array of prizes; for that we thank you.
The PTA would like to thank everyone who supported us in our fundraising endeavours and we will give you an update on the monies raised as soon as we know it. Watch this space!
