What are you waiting for as we celebrate Diwali - The Festival of Lights - this Thursday, 19 October at Harthill Cookery School.

Diwali celebrates the Hindu belief that good will always triumph over evil.

The word itself means 'series of lights' and during the festival, houses and shops are decorated with candles and lights.

In celebration of this festival, Zalena, our Indian tutor, and myself will not only be cooking a traditional chapatti dinner but explaining everything that goes behind such a veritable feast.

Not to be outdone, our Victorian School Hall will be decorated with traditional chalk patterns and candles to perfectly capture the celebrations CLICK HERE

For more information telephone/email Brian Mellor – 01829 78209 or ask@brianmellor.co.uk

We look forward to seeing you.
